CICED conducted the online meeting with representatives of the Center for Education Quality Assessment under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. The Center is one of the long-term CICED partners in frames of the READ Program. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the goals and content of work within the framework of the READ Program in 2021-2024, an overview of approaches to the development and assessment of 21st century skills, the development of tools for assessing 21st century skills, an overview of the project on pedagogical interventions as a tool to improve the quality of basic education, options for teacher training and building national expertise, further development of tools to assess education quality and conducting cross-country comparative studies of the quality of education. The meeting was attended by Savzali Jaffarova, the deputy director of the Center for Education Quality Assessment under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and Parviz Mirzoaminov, the head specialist of the Center. Partis discussed the research plans for the READ Program and once again confirmed mutual beneficial partnership.
